If your vehicle has a camera behind the windshield, it must be recalibrated after the glass is replaced or your safety systems can read the road incorrectly. Why calibration isn't optional
The camera that runs your lane keeping and automatic braking sits against the windshield and aims through it. Replacing the glass moves that camera by a fraction of a degree — enough that, hundreds of feet down the road, the system is looking at the wrong place. A vehicle that was never recalibrated can brake late, brake for nothing, or drift out of its lane while the dashboard shows no fault at all. Manufacturers require the procedure after glass replacement, and insurers pay for it as part of the claim.

How we calibrate
Confirm what your vehicle needs
We look up your VIN and the manufacturer's procedure to see whether your camera requires static calibration, dynamic calibration, or both. This is confirmed before the glass is ordered, not after.
Install the correct glass
Camera-equipped windshields have specific brackets, frit patterns and optical zones. We install OEM or OEE glass built to that spec — the wrong glass is the single most common reason a calibration will not complete.
Static calibration
The vehicle is set on level ground and manufacturer targets are positioned at exact measured distances. The camera is then taught its reference points through the factory scan procedure.
Dynamic calibration
Where required, the vehicle is driven at a set speed on marked roadway so the camera can learn live lane data and complete the procedure.
Verify and document
We clear codes, confirm the systems report ready, and give you documentation of the completed calibration for your records and your insurer.
